Zeolite Water Filtration

Water Filters That Don't Trade One Problem for Another

Name
Proven Filtration Technology

Built on established zeolite science, engineered into practical filtration systems that remove contaminants without the waste of traditional methods.

Smaller Environmental Footprint

No wasted water, no hazardous filter disposal, and no unnecessary complexity—just a smarter approach to water filtration.

Real-World Performance

From under-sink systems to municipal-scale solutions, every AquaZeo product is built around the same two-stage zeolite filtration technology for reliable results.

AquaZeo's Zeolite Water Filtration Technology

Every home and business filtering its water is making a trade-off it probably doesn’t realize it’s making. Reverse osmosis systems strip water down to nothing, wasting several gallons for every gallon they produce, and leave behind a concentrated waste stream that has to be handled as hazardous material. Activated carbon filters look cleaner on paper, but the same pores that trap contaminants eventually give them back, releasing what they’ve absorbed once the filter reaches capacity. Neither approach actually solves the water quality problem homeowners and businesses are trying to fix. Both simply relocate it, whether that’s to your water bill, your energy bill, or a landfill that was never built to handle what’s sitting inside a spent carbon cartridge or an RO concentrate tank.

AquaZeo was founded in October 2025 to close that gap. Our team came together around a specific application of zeolite, a naturally occurring mineral, and built a complete line of water filtration systems around it, designed to outperform reverse osmosis and activated carbon filtration without creating a new environmental problem once the filter’s job is done. Whether you’re a homeowner, a business owner, or a municipal water system, AquaZeo’s zeolite water filtration technology was built to solve the problem other filtration methods only move around.

What Is Zeolite Water Filtration and Why It Outperforms Reverse Osmosis and Activated Carbon

Zeolite is a crystalline mineral with a honeycomb-like internal structure, packed with microscopic pores that are precisely sized and electrically active. Where activated carbon filtration simply traps contaminants on a surface, zeolite water filtration pulls contaminants in through ion exchange. Anything carrying a weak ionic charge, whether it’s a heavy metal, an excess mineral, or a trace pharmaceutical compound, gets caught inside the zeolite structure the moment it makes contact with the media. AquaZeo is able to fine-tune the pore size within our zeolite filtration canisters, which lets us directly manipulate ionic attraction, increasing surface retention for both positively and negatively charged particles. Contaminants that don’t carry a meaningful charge at all, including microplastics, are still caught through simple size exclusion, because the particle is physically too large to pass through the pore structure.

The result is a filtration method that removes more of what’s actually harmful in your water than reverse osmosis or activated carbon, without either method’s drawbacks. Reverse osmosis produces distilled water stripped of the minerals your body needs. AquaZeo’s zeolite filtration removes what’s harmful while leaving the water naturally balanced. And where RO concentrate and spent activated carbon both require hazmat-conscious disposal, spent zeolite carries no environmental impact when disposed of. It isn’t classified as hazardous material at all, because it hasn’t broken down and re-released the contaminants it captured the way a saturated carbon filter eventually does.

How the AquaZeo Two-Canister Filtration System Works

Every AquaZeo water filtration system is built around two filtration canisters we call Canister A and Canister B, each tuned to a different stage of the water filtration process. Rather than relying on a single pass through one filter medium the way most under-sink or whole-home water filters do, water moves through both canisters, giving contaminants more than one opportunity to be caught before the water reaches your tap. This two-stage zeolite filtration process is a major reason AquaZeo systems remove more contaminants than a standard single-media water filter, while remaining simple enough for a homeowner to maintain without scheduling a technician visit.

Because zeolite doesn't degrade the way activated carbon does, and doesn't demand the water pressure, plumbing modifications, or drain line that reverse osmosis filtration requires, AquaZeo systems are also easier to install and operate. There's no wasted water running behind the scenes, no separate drain line to route through your cabinetry, and no need to replace filters every few months just to keep pace with saturation.

Why We Started AquaZeo

The technology behind AquaZeo's water filtration systems isn't new. Zeolite has been studied and used in water treatment applications for years. What was missing was a team willing to apply it in a specific, deliberate way and build consumer and commercial water filtration products around it that homeowners and business owners could actually use without a background in water chemistry. Our founding team came together around a shared frustration: the water filtration options available to most households and businesses either underperformed or performed well while creating a new environmental problem in the process. We built AquaZeo to close that gap using a filtration technology that pulls more contaminants out of the water while leaving less behind for the planet to manage afterward.

Water Filtration Systems Built for Where You Live, Work, and Serve Customers

AquaZeo offers water filtration systems for nearly every water source. Our under-sink water filter and whole-home water filtration system cover residential needs from a single kitchen tap to full-house coverage, while our RV and tiny home water filter unit keeps clean water accessible for anyone who travels. We also work directly with commercial operations where water quality touches the customer experience directly, including hair salons, restaurants, and health facilities, where filtered versus unfiltered water is felt immediately in the final service or product. Beyond individual homes and businesses, our zeolite filtration technology scales up to solve water quality challenges at a municipal level, where the volume of water involved makes zeolite’s disposal and maintenance advantages even more significant for the communities we serve.

Healthy Water Shouldn't Be Complicated

We believe access to genuinely clean water is a basic need, not a luxury reserved for whoever can afford the most expensive filtration system on the market. That belief shapes every product AquaZeo builds, from the compact under-sink water filter designed for renters and homeowners, to the whole-home water filtration system built for families who want every tap in the house covered, to the commercial-grade water filtration solutions built for businesses where water quality is part of what customers are paying for. Every system runs on the same core zeolite filtration technology, so the only thing that changes based on which AquaZeo product you choose is scale, not effectiveness.
